Our campaign is excited to announce that we have earned the endorsement of the Texas Gulf Coast Area Labor Federation, AFL-CIO following a recommendation by the members of the COPE committee and a vote by the delegates of the Harris County Labor Assembly.

The Texas Gulf Coast Area Labor Federation, AFL-CIO unites the power of 95 local unions with over 60,000 members. It is the regional body of the American Federation of Labor – Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO), the largest federation of unions in the United States, with nearly 11 million members nationwide.

Our campaign is very proud to announce we’ve been endorsed by District C Houston City Councilmember Abbie Kamin! Abbie works very hard for her constituents and the City of Houston and our region and is a good friend.

Our 2024 Re-Election Campaign is very happy to announce that we have been endorsed by At-Large Position 5 Houston City Councilmember Sallie Alcorn in the March Democratic Primary!

We woke up this morning to wonderful news! Our friend Houston City CM Dr. Carolyn Evans-Shabazz has endorsed Judge Mike Engelhart for re-election in the 2024 March Democratic Primary!
