Judge Engelhart First Judge to Join HCDP Coordinated Campaign

Published on 10/15/19

On Monday, October 14, 2019, Judge Mike Engelhart became the first Democratic judicial candidate to join the Harris County Democratic Party’s Coordinated Primary Campaign for the March 2020 Democratic Primary.

Today I was very proud to be THE FIRST candidate to deliver my $3000 Primary Coordinated Campaign check to the Harris County Democratic Party for the March 2020 Primary!

Judge Mike Engelhart

This is in addition to the $2500 that a candidate has to pay as the filing fee to be on the March 2020 Democratic Primary Ballot (That $2500 is a state mandated fee, and does not go to the HCDP).

A candidate is very unlikely to win the March Democratic Primary without having access to the benefits and tools provided by HCDP. It’s a lot of money, but well worth it. One shouldn’t try to go it alone, to be sure.

After the Primary, if a candidate is lucky enough to become the Democratic Party’s nominee, then there will be another significantly larger contribution for the November 2020 General Election.

Judge Engelhart wishes to thank everyone who has helped our re-election campaign get this far, and those who will help us going forward.

Campaign Smashes Through Fundraising Goal for First 7 Week Fundraising Period

Published on 7/9/19

Judge Engelhart and his campaign set an ambitious fundraising goal for the first 7 weeks of our campaign, and the campaign smashed through it. Our supporters made it happen! In just 48 days from the start of fundraising for our 2020 re-election bid, Judge Engelhart’s 2020 re-election campaign raised $117,594. Thanks to the hard work of the campaign team and volunteers, that’s what it will report for the period between May 13, 2019 and June 30, 2019!

Early strong fundraising like that says a lot about the health and strength of a campaign. Judge Engelhart’s team showed that they are in the 2020 race to soundly defeat any and all challengers on either side of the aisle.

Our campaign continues on. Please contribute today to keep our momentum going!
